How to find the current tab user is working on

how to find the current tab user is working on?

I have a tabbed based harness and sections. I can see when user goes to a tab it shows a different color. Its indicating that customer in a particular tab. Where is that information available ?

If we have to execute something based on the current tab customer is working on or selecting how can we do that?

I cannot use "Defer load" Retrieve Activity in the tabs because that executes only at the first click or first time when the user selects.

Can anyone have a solution for this issue?

Thanks in advance

Use Param.EXPANDEDTabGroup. This will give the current tab index.

If you are using tabbed layout, you can check the "Refresh when active" check box so that defer load contents activity will be loaded for each time when you click on the tab.

Hi Satish,

There are few controls on each tab, when user performs actions, i need to know from which tab he has performed a action. Defer load will only fire once in its lifetime.

Hi Satya,

If you Check "Refresh when active" check box the pre-loading activity will be fired each time when the tab is active so in the pre-loading activty of each tab set the tab name. So when a purticulare tab is active / clicked it's name can captured.

Hi Satish,

I don't have that option for tab group in 7.1.8.

I have a harness which contains tab group

PFB. When I select Defer load, it will only ask option for pre-activity which will be invoked only once in its life time.

For section rule only "The refersh active when option availabe" for Tab group layout but for harness it is not specified.
