The PRPC HTTP Connect rule allows for connection to any RESTful services such as those exposed by social sites. Utilize JSON functions for mapping RESTful messages to the PRPC clipboard.
Look for a new Connect-REST rule in PRPC 6.2sp2 that will make this even easier to build in PRPC.

Hi,

I used steps mentioned in below link to integrate with twitter (Pega OOB activity invoking HTTP calls to invoke twitter API's) , it is working fine. But the response i get from twitter API are in JSON format in  .pyResourceResponse string property.

Now question is how to parse this JSON data and map to clipboard ? i dont see any utilities avilable in PRPC 7 to parse this data.. Please help with some insigth on this...

That article is a little old. Once you have the access token using the pyConnectSocialNetwork activity, you can configure a REST connector using the REST wizard, upload a sample JSON in the wizard to generate classes and properties, manually change the generated REST connector rule by enabling authentication and associating an authentication profile whose auth type is OAuth pointing to your OAuth Client Profile record. This should be the same record that's passed as a parameter to the pyConnectSocialNetwork activity. In other words, OAuth is now integrated into REST connectors directly so you don't have to call the old pyGetOAuthResource activity any more.
