Error while opening the CPM Portal

I am facing the error while opening the CPM portal. Error message comes as a pop up window stating that "Bind failed for port 7017,Error (80072740). Please help me to reslove the problem

Hi Saurav,

7017 error is due to having multiple CMP Portal(IE browser tab) opened for the same user.
Please close all the tab and open a single instance. This issue will be resolved.

Normally this error comes if you have opened more than one browser of the same CPM application. Not otherwise

what if we want to open multiple instance without an error. Any solution?

Hi Everyone,

Did PEGA provided any solution for this. It is still happening in PRPC 6.2 SP2 -- CPM 06.02 versions.

Did any one get resolution for the above issue? I was using No merger for IE 8 and was working fine for opening multiple instance, however after upgrading to IE 9 or 10 this issue continue to occur.

Disable SetInterval, SetTimeout functions in the background or any auto refresh functions.

Can you provide details information as above mention functions are referred in multiple placces and in locked ootb ruleset.I even think of adverse impact of proposed changes by you.
