Data Tables

Hi all,

1. How to delegate data table to the end user, other then repeating grid facility?

2. How admin people can access the data table in the production?

can any one explain with example..

Thanks in advance.

You may provide a link or an icon and call custom wrapper activity which in turn will invoke the OOTb activity ListEditor. In the custom wrapper activity just set or accept input parameter pyActivity. The format of value for pyActivity param should be like "ABC-XYZ.ListEditor" where "ABC-XYZ" is the name of data table class.
The other option is mentioned in the below link. I believe there is an option in organize tab to edit the values in excel.

can someone please let me know if this was successful to delegate the data table in the end user portal. I am using Pega 7.1.8 but not sure how to configure the data table in the end user portal.

I'm having the same problem.  We have delegated some Data Tables in 7.1.5 using the EditList rule (allows the user to change data).  With an upgrade to 7.1.8 (and required conversion to Local Data Store), this breaks.

1.  Will this work as one of "MyRules" in the pyCaseManager7 portal?  What will the user see?  (It would be nice if the user could use that new "Record Editor".  Our tables can be large and the *were* using the old "Edit in Excel" spreadsheet functionality.)

2.  It looks like Local Data Storage Wizard BLOCKS the old EditList rule, so modifying that is not an option.

What do you recommend for displaying a delegated Data Table in the UI to the User?

Thanks!
