Custom Rules

How to create custom rules in Pega , say for example Rule-Connect-SAP similar to Rule-Connect-Soap? or Other custom Rules in Pega. I know we have to extend rule from Rule- Class or Rule-Obj- Abstract Class, after that what need to do?
Advance Thanks

Create a custom concrete class like Rule-Connect-SAP (inherits from Rule-Connect-)which doesnot belong to class group and mention the keys for the class. Save the rule form and navigate to Advanced tab and select the category under which the new rule type to be displayed. In the advanced tab, select the rule form type as form and create the custom rule form using form builder.

Please see this article that describes the Pega Process Extender for SAP Business Suite. This component of Pega Rules Process Commander allows for straightforward integration with SAP systems either using SAP web services or SAP Java Connectors (JCo).

Hi David,

I am trying to follow the steps in that article. After starting the Connector and Metadata Accelerator in the Metadata dropdown I should see SAP WSDL File and SAP JCo class but they are not part of the dropdown. I am using Pega PRPC 6.3 SP1. Do I need to do something to enable SAP connectors?

Is this supported with pega 7?

Do we have any document with steps to be followed for new rule creation?
