BIX - Pega Tables Backup.

Is BIX can be used for copying the data from one table to another table having exact table description but in different schema. I need to even copy BLOB as it is. I.e copying pzpvstream column as it is to another table pzpvstream.

The reason why i am asking this is, i need to take a backup of WO to another database(Only schema is different, table name, columns are same B/w source and destination tables). Also both Data base are residing in same RDBMS.

Please let me know if any other simpler approach is available..

PEGA BIX does not generate proper relational tables for page group, page List properties when you use 'database' option from bix extraction, instead use XML option to fetch all the properties for a particular class which you required and it fetch the properties from the sub class also

The best way for you is to use DB script to copy the data. BIX is not used for this purpose. BIX is just a plain pega data extraction tool.

Yes as stated above , the best way to handle this through Database script . We have performed this operation many times it works great. But ensure you are copying all required tables .

You want to copy everything or only WO data ?
