AES is not showing Exceptions of monitored nodes/cluster.

We install AES on server and also deployed PegaAESRemote.jar file on monitored nodes.

We can see Alerts and health report when login with AES credentials (AESManager).

But we can't see any exception item there.

We also generated exceptions in our applications in order to see it in AES. But nothing happened.

Can someone please give us possible reasons for the same?

Beacuse AES Server is not recieving the exceptions from Monitered Nodes. This is a Bug in the AES 3.4 (and I guess in the later versions as well).

In order t address the issue, you need to install a HFIX- HFix-9323, details of the HFIX:

HotFix NOT installable by UpdateManager!

Contents:
HFix-9323.zip file contains this ReadMe.txt and pxHFix-9323.zip

pxHFix-9323.zip is a RAP containing the following:
RULE-OBJ-FLOW PEGAAES-WORK-EXCEPTION ADDRESSEXCEPTION #20130717T145555.113 GMT

To install it, extract this file to a local file system, then
upload and install it on your server using the import Wizard in Process
Commander.

The hot fix Implementation notes:
Removing Urgency Adj Decision Box as it is not needed.

This is the rule that is installed:
RULE-OBJ-FLOW PEGAAES-WORK-EXCEPTION ADDRESSEXCEPTION #20130717T145555.113 GMT/PegaAES:03-04-65

Raise an SR to get the latest version of the flow rule and import the RAP via Import and Export wizard.

Can we run AES in cloud instance?

June 13, 2014 - 7:35pm

I dont have any documentation around how Cloud instance will work. But, I come to know from my team members, when they attended Pega WORLD 2014, there was an announcement or a seession, they were told, AES is in Cloud and who ever want to use it, cleint have to pay some amount and that amount will be per instance in the database in a long run.

You may check with your pega Account rep for more details.
