The PEGA Cloud url(https://paex18-eu.pegacloud.com/prweb/PRServlet/xUyB40MFZIZoSYWoFunp7jWKSOSn8sQAEpqu7jb50HI1pCtyEgSXL3Y7M4DI4DLA*/!STANDARD?pyActivity=Data-Portal.ShowDesktop) does not have the public link url in the Designer Studio->System->Settings->URLs . I take it you are looking at the "Case Hierarchy Design" lesson in the Case Design topic, the page titled "Combined Same-Case / Subcase Design Patterns".

There is definitely a "Public Link URL" text field in the System -> Settings -> URLs landing page's "Resource URLs" tab.

Are you saying this field is not visible for 7.1 cloud instances?

The problem you may encounter configuring DWA in 7.1 is that the Assignment UI does not show the parameters needed to configure an External assignment as it did in 6.2.

What you would need to do is define your own wrapper Activity, one that sets parameters then calls EstablishOperatorExternally.

There are number of steps to perform to get DWA working.

1) Define an External work party

2) Create a special Operator record pointed to a special Access Group

3) Set the Public URL

4) Create correspondence that includes the ExternalInstructions.Email fragment.

The External assignment should be owned by the External work party when all is said and done.

You can review the DWA lesson in the 6.2 Lead System Architect course - that lesson placed under the "Security" topic.
